Traveling Through Time in Your Mind and Imagination

Revisiting the past is a naturally occurring phenomenon that happens over and over again in the course of a single day. Simple conversations about what we did or where we went immediately take us back in time. Our life if filled with symbols and touchstones from the past and they stir up memories when we see them: a blanket, a painting, a film, a restaurant, a wine glass, a special book, or a certain street can immediately connect us with past memories. Just listening to the hypnotic lyrics of a song can transport us back in time to the emotionally charged images of a former lover.
