I just returned from teaching Hypnosis classes in Norway and I am amazed at the excitement that doctors, psychologists and psychology graduate students have for this creative work. It warms my heart that they see the fantastic benefits of using the mind and imagination for stress, anxiety, burnout, fear, indecisiveness, pain, and a variety of other common issues and states of mind facing just about everyone on the planet. These are tough times no matter where you live or what you do. I am just delighted that I can somehow be a part of the solution rather than the problem.
My work is solution focused meaning that we spend little time focusing on problems and a lot of time creating solutions that build self-confidence and self-empowerment and draw upon the wisdom of the intuition and imagination.
When I told a friend of mine that I just returned from Europe, she told me that is seems like a long way to travel to commute to work. In the morning I walked a few blocks to the train station and then took a commuter train to the city to work with my students. I had a blast and absolutely love what I do. In this I am very blessed that God gave me the talent to do what I do and to so positively impact the lives of so many.
